Cassie, I liked that you mentioned how difficult it may be for teachers to properly intertwine PBL into the one that they use currently as this is very true. It seems to be very beneficial, but a big change for many teachers as well.
ReplyDeleteCassie,
ReplyDeleteI like how right from the start you let us know that this isn't the typical teaching style, because it isn't yet. Also that you pointed out the teachers are still learning about PBL and how to incorporate it into their classroom because it is true. For a lot of the older teachers this is a completely new concept so it may be difficult for them to execute it fully just yet. I also appreciate the fact that you referred to New Technology High from the book because it helps supports your ideas.
Great view on PBL. It is interesting to read so much about a teaching approach that I do not remember being used as much when I was going through school. It is definitely not traditional, but has many benefits. The digital tools used in this approach are great, and I think they are a great way to engage students.
